Star Wars Galaxies Force Village

Star Wars Galaxies was a Star Wars themed massively multiplayer online role-playing (MMORPG) for Microsoft Windows, developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. Released June 26, 2003 to much critical acclaim, it spawned three expansions through 2005. The last expansion generated controversy as the game was completely overhauled, much to the dismay of many longtime subscribers. Despite these drastic changes, Star Wars Galaxies continued operation for six more years. On July 24, 2011 Sony Online Entertainment announced that the game would be closed on December 15, 2011. Despite outcry from subscribers and Star Wars fans, the servers shut down on December 15, 2011. Notwithstanding the game's closure, there are several private emulator projects in various stages of development that intend to allow users to experience Star Wars Galaxies in different incarnations of the game's existence.

so i found this on the link you provided, but the question is how would i do this in crossover? i don't see an option to add command lines to applications? also on the same site i found a direct link to the game files, so perhaps i can get the buggy launcher to work just well enough to get into the game which seems to be where swg works fine

my Station Launcher is broken for me too (Wine 1.1.10/xubuntu 8.10/amd64x2; it sorta works, but the windows keep disappearing etc.) so I use the Station LaunchPad (which came with the original game btw) for starting SWG instead, you can download a version of the LaunchPad here:
cosmicrift.station.sony.com/download.jsp
start it with following switches:
wine 'C:Program FilesSonyStationLaunchpadLaunchPad.exe' /game:starwars /env:ukmain /lang:en_US
it should then ask for the location of the game (if you let it point to a wrong or empty folder it will re-download the game, you can fix the path later by renaming the folder so he asks again or by modifing the path in the registry) and work as intended (even although you might not see the web-page based parts, but you don't need them to start the game anyway).
I hope this helps.
May the force (finally) be with you,
